Basic Decorating:

All Halloween Parties need to use Black and Orange, Balloon
Decoration, Curl Ribbon, and Crepe
Streamer. This will give you your color for the party. New Colors for Halloween include Purple and Yellow.
Place a Happy Halloween Banner
where everyone can see it. Also check out the Decorations

Easy Ghosts:
|
Inflate a balloon and place inside a small white garbage bag. Tie a string under the balloon to create the head.
Draw a mouth and eyes on the bag with felt tip pen. |

Black Cat Decoration:
|
Have a real black cat around the party area if possible, if not use a stuffed animal. |
|
Scary Signs Decoration:
|
Create signs with wood and paint or cardboard and markers that read stuff like: Haunted House, Enter if you dare,
bat alley, Dead End, U R NOT WELCOME

Jack-O-Lantern Decoration
|
No Halloween celebration is complete without at least one Jack-O-Lantern. Make it as scary, as funny, or as original

Specimen Jars Decoration:
|
Place these at the table where guests will be sitting. You have a table decoration and a treat and some favors
for your guests.
Clean and take labels off of jars. All shapes and sizes. Baby food jars, pickle jars, jelly jars, etc.
Place in each jar the following and have them displayed within the food. Make sure your guests do not try to eat
these items.
For an added touch label your specimen jars with what the content is suppose to be. Here are some ideas to help
get you started:
| Bones: |
chicken bones, cleaned |
| Brains: |
tofu, or very cold spaghetti cooked, add a touch of red food coloring to a little water and make sure that the
jar is stuffed with spaghetti. |
| Eyes: |
Stuffed olives |
| Fingers: |
mini hot dogs or sausages |
| hair: |
silk from corn on the cob or hair cut from an old doll or go to your local hairstylist and see if you can have
some hair |
| Hand: |
Latex glove frozen with water, when freezing rape over an upside down bowl to give it an actual hand shape |
| Liver: |
Get some chicken livers |
| Skin: |
Skin from a chicken |

Operating Table Decoration:
|
Cover a table with white tablecover.
Take apart a plastic skeleton at the waist, lay the top half on a table. Cover the skeleton with another white
tablecloth and cut some slits in at the stomach area. Set a pan of cold cooked and oiled spaghetti under the tablecloth
under the slits and have some of the spaghetti sticking out. Add a little ketchup tot he spaghetti for a more realistic
look. |

Cemetery Decoration:
|
Cut plywood to resemble stones or use packing material if you have it on hand. Paint either black or gray, silver
paint will work also. For a more real look use a crackle paint. Then paint some Halloween saying not he tombstones
like: Ted N. Buried, U. R. Nest, Here lies good old Fred...a great big rock fell on his head. Put up an old iron
gate or make one using plywood or cardboard.
